✨ Just potting along & Beamex collaboration today ✨
Giving the work plants some much needed TLC by repotting in multipurpose compost and bark mixtures. All plants were rootbound and not the healthiest after an inconsistent watering routine but this is the first step to get them healthy and thriving!
I’ll leave these plants now for between 4-6 weeks to settle and hopefully get some healthy roots behind them then I think we’ll have to size up on the pots 🤭

Maybe in the future this might be a service just potting along could offer? Who knows !

Wanted to share this super cool propagation accident 🍃
Towards the end of last summer I thought it’d be cool to propogate my monsteras in a few different ways, this beauty started off with just some nodes in sphagnum moss and I was really bad plant mum throughout winter and forgot to check after new leaves started to appear. I took to the task of tackling repotting 10+ plants yesterday and came across this amazing root network! As a lil experiment I’m going to transfer her into a bigger tray to create a completely flat base - maybe perfect for a reptile vivarium ? 👀

I’ve had this beautiful pain in the finger for 3 years - I’ve included a photo to see what she looked like when I first brought her!
I recently repotted all my cacti (video coming soon) and since then she’s been thriving and I can’t believe how happy she is 🥰

Propagation and repotting of my very sparse Golden Pothos 🍃
This beauty has been hanging on our bathroom top windowsill almost touching the floor but I noticed she kept losing leaves to the point where there was almost 1m bare, I’ve decided to chop the longest vine, water propagate the healthy part, have a go at perlite prop with the nodes and replant the extremely root-bound body of the plant - all in all this process only took around half an hour 🫶🏼

New little snake plant pups incoming 🪴
My big plant started wilting and falling and no matter what I did I couldn’t make it happy so I cleared away the unhappy roots, made a tiny plant and had a go at water propagation for the leaves and 2 months later we have roots and babies!! I experimented without cutting the bottom and tried inwards and outwards, cutting too. Chuffed with my first go, I need to start changing the water more regularly and using less but happy with the result nonetheless 🥰

Meet Fernando the chilli plant 🌶️
I was gifted this lovely plant by a lady at work and was super excited to see he’s already producing a beautiful little chilli! I first noticed his leaves were yellowing due to lack of nitrogen in the soil so ive repotted him in a compost, perlite & bark mix and hosed down the roots for extra exposure and to ensure they weren’t suffocating. I’ll top him up with some fertiliser for added strength! Keeping my fingers crossed he recovers well and enjoys his new home 😊

Rootin hell 👏🏼🪴
This is a cutting I took from of my mature and she’s doing amazing! I couldn’t believe the root growth in just a couple of months. She must be happy as she’s produced her first fenestrated leaf! 🥹 startup plants like this will be available to purchase at a really low price in the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled! All grown with love and care and a well developed root system so they’ll just keep on growing 🥰

A day of plant care, I gave my big monsteras some much needed tlc moving into spring.
They’ve had a much needed shower to clean off the leaves, their yellowing leaves have had a trim to make room for new growth and moss poles have been refreshed for support. I even managed to take 4 cuttings to make some baby plants that will be available over the next few weeks once the roots take!
I can pot them for individual preference whether you prefer hydroponic planting, Leca or an airy potting mixture just let me know what you would prefer!
Excuse the state of me in this reel I was fully immersed in the plant life that day 😂
Self care for me also involved caring for my plants and gives me a new lease of life 🥰
