Vixens Season Round-Up 🏉💚❤️

Our second season for Market Rasen & Louth Vixens, and our first in the Inner Warriors Series, has been one to remember. Finishing the league undefeated is something we’re incredibly proud of.

This season has been all about development, and every player has pushed themselves to grow and improve week by week. We’re now in a strong position and hopeful of stepping up to NC3 for the 26/27 season.

A huge thank you to our coaching team for their support and belief in us every step of the way - and to all the players who’ve made this journey so special.

☀️ Fun in the Sun ☀️

🌳 We have been pretty busy lately enjoying some decent weather with a large Willow re-pollard, wind blown giant Poplar and a bark included Maple along with its neighbour. 🌳

🌳 We are very fortunate in that we get to work in some lovely spots around Lincolnshire, and get to meet and chat with some great people. 🌳

🪵 A recent lodge restoration carried out at a local holiday park. Almost 3/4 of the first 2 layers of timber had rotted out. A couple of mitigating factors have played a part in the demise of the timber, the layer of green AG and the guttering close to collapse. 🪵

🪵 A section of decking had to be cut out and removed to gain access at the rear, the bathroom had to be completely removed for access to the floor joists.🪵

🪚 All rotten timber has been replaced with treat timber. The timber has been covered for the weekend with a wood preserve but a coat of matching stain will be added next week. 🪚

🏖️ Now it will be ready for lots more visitors enjoying their fun filled getaways for many more years to come 🏖️

🌳There are a lot of pros and cons to a tree reduction, but when carried out correctly can be of huge benefit to both tree and property owner 🌳

🎉 As 2025 comes to an end we would just like to thank all of our customers over the last 12 months. 🎉
🌳🏡We have been involved in some great projects and have certainly had some challenges thrown at us which we have dealt with professionally and efficiently. 🏡🌳

✅ 88 sqm Kandla grey sandstone
✅ 41m treated fencing
✅ 28 sleepers
✅ 16 days labour
✅ Plenty of coffee

🌳 We thoroughly enjoyed getting this Spruce back in to shape. A previous property owner had the top removed, which unfortunately wasn’t necessary as the tree is a strong healthy example. 🌳

🌳 So the question is - why have we done what we’ve done? Answer: Well why not create something aesthetically pleasing out of something that’s been hacked. By removing a little amount of foliage it’s been easy to create its new healthy symmetrical shape. 🌳

🏡 We have added some compost and loam around the base of the tree. Due to the very dry summer we have experienced and showing signs of root flare we added a little extra soil to help retain the trees health and it also means the customer can revive his lawn.🏡

🌳 We relish the opportunity to work on a smashing example of a tree and an equally smashing customer who is pretty handy with a camera 📸 🌳
