So wouldn’t usually posts these customer fails but thought I’d just show anyone else out there that might have done the same cockup there not alone ,,
So the customer installed these a couple of years ago and made the mistake of cutting the hole far to big and blocking up the weepholes on the bottom with adhesive, so I have taken it off this morning and unveiled quite a lot of rust! cleaned it up, treated it and primed it for the window to go back on..
not a great ending as there shouldn’t be a silicone/adhesive edge on these windows. Far from ideal but it does not leak 🙃
