Well, I've been busy on a huge combined project working alongside Jamie https://www.facebook.com/jffencinglandscaping/ transforming a run down, neglected, flagged garden, into a beautiful, space for our lovely customers, Rod and Chris to enjoy with their family and friends for years to come.....

The transformation has consisted of, ripping up all the old flags, adding sleeper borders around the garden, adding 2 bases, for both the plastic shed and the summerhouse, laying a fresh new lawn, creating a small managable flower bed, erecting a prefab plastic shed, and then building a custom built 7ft (W) x 7ft (L) x 6ft4 (H) bow fronted summer house.

Features of the building include:
100% of the timber is tanilised.
custom double doors & windows,
A hipped rubber roof,
polycarbonate glazing, for safety around the grandchildren,
5 lever yale lock,
decorative wrought iron handles,
Guttering to the rear.

I'm very, very pleased with how this turned out, and it finishes the garden off beautifully.

A concrete picnic bench, restored to its former glory.
The old timbers were replaced with slightly thicker 4x2 planed, tanilised timber, at a local chip shop today, to hopefully last the shop another 20years.

Here we have BGC's biggest project to date, completed in partnership with J.F Fencing & Landscaping. Bespoke Garden Creations
What a fantastic project it has been, a full garden remodel, featuring a large custom built 10ft x 10ft gazebo covering a new wrap around deck, raised sleeper beds, new lawn, blue slate borders and paths and a stunning water feature.
From start to finish this has truly been a complete transformation, our customers Clare and Paul, asked for help to design their garden makeover, as they didn't really know what they'd be able to achieve. I drew a sketch of what I felt would work, and we went from there. See pics from start to finish. Throughout the project, we liaised with the customers, to tweek anything they felt would work better, even removing a large conifer which was taking over the boundary.

Gorgeous planter, custom built today for Kelly.
Lined with a protective plastic membrane, pierced for drainage, this planter will look lovely for years to come 😍

From start to finish, this build has been a pleasure. With the addition of an inset deck step and planter stands to either side of the door, I'm ecstatic to see the finish of the exterior.
I can't wait to see it with plants and accessories and up and down lighting fitted to the front.

1st fix elecs are already complete, just the plastering to complete, before second fix and decorating.

So, after 8 days of hard graft, predominantly alone, in some extremely unpredictable weather conditions, from sunshine one min, to snow the next, we have a watertight room.
Fully cladded in quality tanilised shiplap, and topped with a quality rubber roof.... This room, is ready for the electrics to be put in, and then plasterboarded out.
I still have to add the rear gutter, a small deck to the front and seal the window and door frames, and add a few more noggins to catch the plasterboards inside, but, she's looking lovely.... And in record time too.
Absolutely loved creating this building, and the finish is very aesthetically pleasing.

A very long, but productive day today, 3 sides almost completely cladded, roof frame work almost completed..... Will hopefully finish the cladding and get the roof boarded tomorrow, weather permitting.
