Exterior transformation completed here in Kent.

This bungalow was looking very tired when I first arrived, with multiple areas of failed masonry and weathered surfaces needing careful attention before any painting could begin.

A large part of this project was spent carrying out masonry repairs. Because the property has a rough rendered finish, blending repairs seamlessly is never straightforward, but I took extra care to texture and stipple the filler before lightly sanding back the high spots to help the repairs sit naturally within the existing render.

The entire exterior then received a thorough clean and fungicidal wash to remove algae, surface contamination and debris. Porous areas were stabilised where required before applying two full coats of Sandtex Smooth Masonry in the colour “Beechnut”.

The plinths were also fully treated with the same preparation process and finished with two coats of black Sandtex Smooth Masonry for a clean contrast and a sharper finish overall.

The windows had a lot of old failing silicone which had deteriorated over time, so all defective sealant was carefully removed and replaced with fresh exterior-grade window silicone.

A big thank you as well to RL Glazing Ltd for supplying me with the correct sealant and being incredibly helpful. Brilliant local company and highly recommended.

As part of the project, all fascias and guttering were checked and cleaned, with a damaged rear gutter elbow also replaced.

Really pleased with how fresh and bright this property now feels while still keeping the character of the bungalow intact.

Finished! this hallway, stairs & landing transformation for a lovely client in Sandwich.

Soft tones, crisp woodwork and a clean, calm finish throughout. The ceilings were finished in durable ultra-flat AR2 matt white to help soften the light across the stairwell, while the walls were coated in Clean Extreme in the beautifully subtle YO770H light pink.

All woodwork was prepared and finished in Scuff-x "Chantilly Lace" for a crisp contrast and a durable finish built for everyday life.

This one was all about the details... sharp lines, smooth preparation and getting that soft flow of colour right from the hallway all the way up through the landing.

Finished using my tavourite setup lately: the Archer brush combined with the Corona Grand #4. Absolute precision tools and a pleasure to work with.

Really pleased with how bright, fresh and welcoming this space now feels.

A recent dining room transformation completed for a lovely family in Folkestone.

This was one of those projects that just worked from start to finish. The clients had a brilliant eye for colour and furnishings, which made the whole process even more enjoyable. With so much natural light pouring into the space, we were able to go bold on the walls using Dulux Heritage “Red Sand” in velvet matt — a warm, earthy tone that shifts beautifully throughout the day.

The ceiling was finished in Tikkurila AR2, chosen for its ultra-flat, super matt finish. Being a new build with dry-lined walls, there were a few surface imperfections to contend with, but careful prep combined with the AR2 helped create a clean, calm ceiling that doesn’t draw the eye.

All woodwork was completed in Benjamin Moore Scuff-X (Chantilly Lace) — a durable, crisp white that balances the richness of the walls perfectly. Applied using Corona Archer brushes, which continue to deliver a beautiful finish and control.

A genuinely enjoyable project, topped off with great hospitality… amazing coffee and a few treats along the way which is always really appreciated ☕️

A calm, warm space in the heart of Folkestone ✨

Walls in Farrow & Ball “Sudbury Yellow” No.51 — shifting beautifully with the light throughout the day.

Coving taken through in the same colour to enhance height and keep the lines flowing.

Ceiling finished in Tikkurila AR2 Matt White for a clean, flat surface

All woodwork in Farrow & Ball “White Tie” No.2002 eggshell for a soft, durable finish 🤍

Extensive preparation carried out, including repairing large cracks with invisible decorator’s scrim for a seamless result.

Finished using Corona Archer brushes and Two Fussy Blokes rollers — because the finish is in the detail.

A small job recently completed in Pluckley, Kent where the customer wanted a simple colour change to freshen up this lovely kitchen area.

The cabinets were painted in Little Greene colour – Juniper Ash (115), a soft muted tone that works beautifully alongside the exposed brickwork and natural timber beams.

For this one I used my Corona brush which always give a lovely smooth finish and great control

Sometimes a simple colour change is all that’s needed to transform a space.

Fully furnished and finished in Ashford, Kent 🤍

This living room was designed to feel warm, balanced and timeless. Soft neutral walls paired with crisp woodwork allow the original features and textures to take centre stage.

The combination of period coving, exposed brick, natural timber and layered textiles creates a space that feels calm, considered and ready to live in.

I always enjoy projects like this. Restoring character, refining details and delivering a finish that feels effortless but is anything but.

Hand-painted kitchens never go out of style, and this one in Bridge, Kent is a perfect example of why.

The island was finished in Farrow & Ball colour – Cola, adding depth and drama to the heart of the room, while the outer cabinets were hand painted in Farrow & Ball colour – Drop Cloth, keeping everything soft, warm and beautifully balanced.

Every door, drawer and detail was painted by hand using Corona brushes, allowing the natural character of the cabinetry to shine through and giving a smooth and classic finish.

A timeless kitchen with soul, made to be lived in and loved for years to come.

🖤 Bathroom decoration – bold colour 🖤

This bathroom was fully colour drenched with the same finish carried across the walls and ceiling for a clean, seamless look. Dark bathrooms leave nowhere to hide, so the focus here was on preparation, sharp lines and consistency of finish throughout.

Extra care was taken around tiled areas, fixtures and junctions to keep everything crisp and controlled, while achieving a smooth, even sheen under strong lighting. In spaces like this, good decorating is about restraint, balance and precision rather than bold statements.

A calm, solid finish that lets the room speak for itself.

A newly completed en-suite bathroom refresh ✨

Finished in Mizzle, a soft and timeless green that works beautifully with the stone tiles and natural wood tones.
The ceiling was painted with Zinsser Perma-White for long-term mould protection, while the walls and woodwork were finished in Johnstone’s Acrylic Eggshell with added mould inhibitor — durable, washable, and ideal for high-moisture spaces.

On this project I used the Corona Archer brush — a pleasure to work with and perfect for achieving crisp lines and a smooth, controlled finish.

Careful prep, quality materials, and the right tools make all the difference.
