Another gorgeous bathroom design we presented recently. Rich glossy greens tiles, fluted elements and soft curves come together to create a calm, contemporary space. We love how the olive green works with the warm wood vanity and gunmetal hardware for a space that feels both modern and timeless. So excited to see this finished 💚

A grounding palette of glossy teal tiles and soft stone effect wall tiles set the tone in this calming ensuite. Layered with natural wood textures for warmth and balance, matt black hardware adds a modern edge, while the sculptural freestanding bath keeps things effortlessly luxurious.

Soft, ambient wall lighting and an arched mirror bring a subtle elegance, contrasted with tactile details like ribbed ceramics, fluted shower screens and plush textured towels. The desert print and vintage style bath mat add a touch of personality.

We recently completed two bespoke fireplace tiling installations for interior influencer Lisa Dawson at her beautifully styled home in York.

The first fireplace features Bert & May’s Little Greene Bassoon rectangle tiles in a rich ochre glaze, bringing warmth and depth to the recess and pairing perfectly with the exposed brick arch and black log burner.

The second uses Bert & May’s Purple Brown glazed square tiles, adding a deeper, moodier tone while still keeping the relaxed, layered feel of the home.

Both fireplaces were installed in a stacked layout to minimise grout lines and let the handcrafted tiles take centre stage. The result is a warm, characterful finish that celebrates the natural variation of handmade tiles while framing each stove beautifully.

A great example of how thoughtful tile choices can transform a traditional fireplace into a real design feature.
