Howdy y’all,
We have some pretty big news & today’s the day we can let you all know, as always there’s a story…
Recently, one of our regular customers came into store with her lovely dog, Nacho, to purchase dog food & asked how the western store was going. We explained it was going great, building our brand, adding new lines, new products & clothing partnerships, but quite often you don’t even hear back from the giant brands as they simply get inundated with requests.
She then said, “my husband used to go to school & is still friends with someone I think works at Wrangler” & that she would mention to them what we were doing. Matt thanked her at the time, but didn’t think too much of it!
The big brands are often hard to nail down for small independents, the criteria both from a brand perspective & a financial commitment can be quite daunting.
However, a few days later, Sean sends us a message & states he’s checked out our page & can’t believe how great it looks & what we’ve done with the store! Growing up in the village & knowing Patrick Greens well, Sean now lives in Antwerp & is the Global Concept Director for Wrangler. YEP, grew up right here in little old Ingatestone, we can’t believe it either. NEEDLESS TO SAY…we are now officially a supplier of the largest Western brand in the world, WRANGLER!!
Thank you to Nachos mum 🐶 😂 for buying your dog food from us, making the connection & most of all, to Sean for being super kind & making this happen.
Over the next few weeks, we plan to fill the shop up with some of Wranglers core range of denim wear & more. Keep an eye out for the first run of merch when it lands in store.
We can’t believe it, Stetson, Durango & now Wrangler are part of the PG1888 offering with lots of cool collaborations on the way in both the western store & within the music venue inside with our new partners.
Excited is an understatement!
Come check out our very unique general store when you can, with country music, western wear, awesome coffee and of course, pet supplies all under one roof!
It’s clearly not what you know, but where you buy your dog food. 😂🤠
