Yesterday I travelled to beautiful Tayvallich to add two pots to a lovely holiday home.
The customer wanted a fuss free mixture of perennials in a beige pot. So I went with Salvia, Gaura and a H**e as they all have similar care requirements, in a gorgeous frost proof teraccota pot. I also added some trailers to give more character and pops of colour.
🌸 The purple Salvia will flower well into the autumn and is super fragrant.
🌸 The Gaura (purple leaved plant) has yet to show its full beauty - very soon it will grow taller and have beautiful airy flowers through to autumn, that will complement the Salvia beautifully.
🌸 The H**e will produce many more white flowers and will provide evergreen interest year round.
All these plants will fill out over the summer and come back bushier each year. I chose to use only 3 main plants, even though the pot is large, as perennials can have vigorous root systems.
