Featuring a factory paint-finished Accoya glazed door, a solid insulated hardwood door and casing, and a solid insulated hardwood door screen with a stain finish.

A look behind the scenes at the making of these traditional green oak trusses 🪵

Each truss was assembled with oak pegs and features beautifully curved principal beam supports, combining structural strength with traditional character.

Another busy few weeks in the Kendal workshop, with a real mix of projects taking shape.

From the early stages of marking out and machining, through to assembly and finishing, it’s always satisfying seeing each piece come together step by step. There’s a rhythm to it - careful planning, skilled hands, and an eye for detail at every stage.

It’s this process that ensures everything leaving the workshop not only looks right but performs exactly as it should for years to come.

Part 1 of a recent project we’ve really enjoyed working on.

A beautifully crafted Accoya timber bay window with curved heads, designed and manufactured in our Kendal workshop.

Photos showing the process behind the joinery, from early stages through to installation. The bay is now awaiting painting and the fitting of the metal Cotswold casement windows, and we’ll share the finished result very soon.
