We’ve got some great news for you. From 1 July, anyone can switch your mobile phone to Utility Warehouse without the hassle of speaking to your current provider.
You are able to request a PAC (Port Authorisation Code) to keep your existing mobile number just by:
Texting ‘PAC’ to 65075, or by
requesting one on your online account.
The supplier will then send the PAC straight away.
This means customers will no longer have to phone up, wait on hold, and worry about their current provider trying to persuade them to stay.
And if you want to get a new number with us, you can request a cancellation or STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) from their previous supplier by:
Texting STAC to 75075, or by
Requesting one on your online account.
The PAC or STAC will be available to use for 30 days. Requesting a new PAC or STAC within the 30 day period will replace the PAC or STAC previously requested.
The text message will include details about any early termination fees that may be due before switching or the remaining balance on a prospect's Pay As You Go SIM if they have one with their current provider, avoiding any nasty surprises before switching.
Notice period charges
Customers currently have to pay for their old service during a notice period after switching. This new process will quickly cancel the customer’s mobile service with their existing supplier, putting an end to paying for old and new services at the same time.
A user can enter your PAC or STAC during the sign-up process on Join the Club to switch their existing mobile number over to us.
