Recycling a vase and using a light cork this time. Fittonia, moss and scavenged slate and snail shells. I did make some mini pots for Christmas gifts and stupidly forgot to take photos 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Last terrarium (for now!). Boston fern, moss, bark from my cordyline and a bit of slate from the front garden. The top is an upcycled glass dome from an old ceiling light. Let’s see if it works 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is a garden that I designed last year. It was a tricky project designing around a swimming pool in the centre of the garden which needed to stay in situ. We needed to find a solution to replace the lawn as it wasn’t growing and was impossible to cut around the pool, and suitable paths were needed to reach the summer house at the rear of the garden. A replacement wall and fencing to a raised bed, as it’s located on a hill, with the next door garden being higher. We went for a gravel garden for easy maintenance with lots of bright helenium, geum and wafty grasses, punctuated with salvia caradonna and trusty geranium rozanne, plus nandina for year round foliage and to complement some existing bamboos to create a tranquil environment to relax in.
The building work including new patio and steps was completed this summer. The lovely plants arrived from Provender Nurseries a couple of weeks ago, I had the fun of placing them and my clients kindly sent me these photos of them all planted up. I can’t wait to see it next summer when everything is settled and in full bloom. 🌼
