Another job from the summer, in which our crew of tradesmen cut & build the sandstone boundary wall and copes using reclaimed stone. The stone used for the pillars & capstones we're cut fresh from a local quarry by ourselves, before also being built to give this grand entrance! The front façade of the house was also restored, by taking out failing stone & repointing with lime mortar.

While cold weather ceases use of mortars, it doesn't stop the cutting of stone! We will be cropping & cutting at the quarry, in preparation for future projects...

Another project that is well underway, a boundary feature wall to add rawness & a contrasting finish to this former bank in Polmont. The building is being renovated into office space, by a local contractor. All sandstone was cropped at the quarry, before being built by our team of mason's.

This boundary wall finished last week in lennoxtown, was built and pointed by our masons in lime mortar. The sandstone used was picked, cropped or cut with stone fresh from the quarry. The opposite side of the wall was to be roughcasted.
