⚡ Another ceiling light sorted safely and properly and disaster avoided⚡

Customer called me out after removing an old light… and this is what they found 👀

Multiple cables crammed into an old connector, damaged insulation, loose earth – not something you want hidden in your ceiling potential fire risk 🔥

I stripped it all back, made it safe, re-terminated everything correctly, and fitted a new light so it’s now neat, secure and compliant 👍

✅ Safe connections
✅ Proper terminations
✅ Clean finish

If you’ve got lights to change, faults you’re unsure about, or anything that “doesn’t look quite right” – it’s always worth getting it checked.

Nice to see the first signs of spring starting to appear 🌼

With the lighter evenings on the way, it’s a good time to think about those jobs around the house and garden.

If you’ve been considering a few jobs need doing around the house, a full room makeover or things like outside lights, shed or garage electrics, power to a summer house, security lighting, CCTV, or any other projects just have a look at my page for recommendations.

Just completed something different finished this week—re-routed some pipework and installed a slimline new vanity unit in a downstairs bathroom. Everything’s working perfectly now, and the pipes are neatly boxed in ready for decoration in time for Christmas.
