Job opportunity 🎨

Painter & Decorator required due to ever increasing workload. Large order book ahead which runs well into 2026.

Rate of pay & benefits negotiable dependant on experience & ability.

Applicants must hold a relevant qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).

Work divided between the domestic & commercial sectors, mainly in the Angus & Tayside area with the odd exception of working in Aberdeen & Perthshire.

Driving license preferred but not essential.

A simple repair to a burst tape, a freshen up to 1 wall area and a colour change to 2 walls at this multi purpose studio.

All finished in Crown Clean X-treme matt emulsion for long term durability.

Degreased, pressure washed then 2 coats of Caparol Amphibolin to cladding & roller door in client requested colours.

Station House, Forfar.

A quick turnaround to this property due to the short window in between change of tenancies, and to also allow good time for new carpets to be fitted to the bedrooms.

Durable/washable paints throughout to provide long term cost efficiency. All finished in brilliant white to brighten it up.

A basic freshen up with neutral colours throughout to this 1 bed flat, with the hope that it will help improve the buyer appeal.

✨ South College St. Aberdeen

Here’s some before & afters of works recently completed at 2 occupied rental properties which were experiencing some mould issues in the bathrooms due to previously being painted with standard paints.

The mould was cleaned off with mould cleaner, stain blocked where required then painted with mould resistant bathroom paint.

A hallway to one of the properties which had suffered some damage from building works was also freshened up.

✨ Grampian Park, Forfar

2nd branch for Robertson Memorials completed with full internal & external decoration works.

Externally, windows were adhesion primed then finished in white satin along with the wood linings to canopy & also the door frames. Doors were adhesion primed before being finished in the companies new branding colour, also in a satin finish. After painting, the windows received a bead of white silicone to seal.

Internally, a lot of preparation work to put right some badly cracked ceilings before finishing in a flat matt. Walls were finished in a durable matt, & woodwork was finished in a durable satin.

The branch now looks much more modern & brighter throughout.

Balgay Cemetery, Dundee.

Before, during & afters of full external & internal redecoration works to Robertson Memorial offices.

🔨🪚 Rotten external windowsill was replaced via a subcontractor organised by Torrie Decorating.

👨🏻‍🎨 All external woodwork was prepared as standard with excessive spot priming, sanding & filling required then finished in Demidekk opaque.

♠️ All metalwork was finished in Rustoleum CombiColor, black gloss.

🍂🌱 Rainwater goods which were badly blocked, were cleared of all leaves, moss & dirt then checked to make sure they were flowing freely once again.

🎨 Internally, all ceilings were finished in flat matt & walls were finished in durable matt.

🤝 Work has already begun at another branch for a very happy client.

A very busy start to the New Year with a lot of work being carried out to rental properties. This one was a particularly straightforward job….. preparation as standard then apply 2 coats of brilliant white to ceilings, walls and trim woodwork.

Durable/washable paints throughout to provide long term cost efficiency against full redecoration.

Duncrub Estate ✨

Completion photos from this stunning property tucked away in Perthshire woodland.

A big task over 10 days to get the ground floor freshened up in good time for Santa coming.

A big variety of work which included:

A LOT of masking up!!

All surfaces being sanded with Mirka dustless sanding systems.

Spray finishing cornices using the Graco ultra quickshot cordless & airless sprayer.

Paperhanging.

All paints & colours by Dulux.

A very happy customer who has given the go ahead for the upper floor to be done next year.
