Large timber bay window/patio door replaced by William Spring. Then i took down the old lath and plaster ceiling, re boarded and skimmed it. Renovated and painted the shutters. Panelled the recesses. Then i painted all of it.

Well as some of you know i randomly also do a bit of stone wall building as it was one of the jobs my dad and I used to do quite a lot of. Anyway one of my customers whom i've worked for since i was a lad, wanted this wall sorting out. It had been partially built quite a few years ago but never finished. Also some parts had been run into by farm machinery. So a lot of it had to be taken down and rebuilt. So with some help from my reluctant jnr sidekick, we spent a few weeks during summer, working on it together and then i completed it on my own after jnr started at college.

This job started off as panelling around the kitchen, but when the plaster was removed it revealed a rather nice stone wall which my customer decided they'd like to keep as a feature wall. So i stripped all of the plaster off, cleaned it down and pointed it up. I sealed it at a later date.

As usual i forgot to take any before pics and not many after either 🤦🏻‍♂️ Anyway emulsioned ceiling. Walls and woodwork ...
