In Knypersley, Stoke on Trent, our customer had WhatsApped some pictures across of their door, which they didn't think we could repair. It was a Cardale up and over, retractable door, one of the springs had snapped, the door had come out of its tracks because the track had come off it's support and one of the lifting arms was loose.

We replaced both springs, repaired all the broken parts including riveting the arm back on, serviced the door and now it opens/closes and locks again. The customer was so grateful, he left a 5 star
review on Yell.

In Ellesmere Port, I was called out to this Wickes, up and over canopy garage door. One of the side tension cables had snapped and one of the rollers was broken.

I replaced the cables and rollers, added tension to the spring and serviced the door.

Over in Congleton, I attended this Garador C type up and over canopy door. One of the side tension cables had snapped, causing the tension spring to fall off. I replaced the cables, refitted the spring and serviced the door. It's now working great again.

In Reddish, Stockport today I repaired this Hormann up and over canopy door. The cables had been cut in order to close the door, after one of them had come off.

I replaced both cables, retensioned the spring and serviced the door.

In Woolton, Liverpool, my customer called to say the up and over garage door was stuck open and they couldn't close it. I called out and could immediately see that the side tension cable had snapped. I managed to close the door and replaced both cables, I added tension to the spring, so the door opens much easier.

Over in Malpas, a customer rang me about a door I'd never heard of before, Silvelox. The customer advised that the door was wedged open. I was initially reluctant to attend due to very little info being available on these doors. However out of curiosity, I attended, figured out the problem and managed to repair the door.

In Scholar Green, Stoke, I replaced the motor on this Roller Door. The door would open but then roll back down slightly, when it reached the top. I fitted a more powerful 50nm motor compared to the 30nm motor, it originally came with and the door is now working great

I had to replace this broken R type spring on this Garador up and over retractable door in Pickmere today. The outer spring had snapped, leaving just the inner spring working, this meant the door was much heavier. A new spring and service, solved that problem.

A new Somner Aperto XL garage door motor fitted today in Marthall. The old Novofern motor was playing up and was struggling to lift the heavy timber door.

The new 800nm XL will deal with this door with ease. It comes with 2 new remotes and a 5 year warranty.

Attended this job in Knutsford, the roller garage door had accidentally been closed on a car and had come out of it's guides, leaving it unsecure.

I was able to straighten the straps and fit it back in place. It was a lucky escape but the door was absolutely fine.
