My new solo exhibition ‘HOME.’ is up! ✨
After hanging the entire exhibition myself yesterday, I’m so excited to finally share that my solo show, ‘HOME.’ is now on display at .lancaster
The exhibition is open now to view while popping in for a drink or during your meal, with a public viewing this Saturday from 2–4pm. Feel free to pop in for a look around and a chat - no need to book a table or stay for food if you’d just like to see the work but the kitchen is open if you’d like to treat yourself!
The show features a mix of original paintings inspired by the city I call home, including my biggest landscape painting to date of the Lancaster canal , & Fairfield nature reserve, as well as a few more locations close to home. Along with the originals, there’s also framed and mounted limited edition prints too.
The title Home feels especially meaningful. Lancaster is where I moved to for studying for my Fine Art degree when I was 18, where I met my husband, and where we got married at the Ashton Memorial too! After moving away for ten years to teach down south, we returned to raise our daughter when I got my teaching job at LGGS before taking the leap to pursue my dream of becoming an artist alongside teaching.
To now be exhibiting these paintings inspired by our local family walks that have shaped our lives here - feels really special. The beautiful surroundings of The Quarterhouse make the perfect setting for this collection; the work truly feels at ‘home’ here ✨
I hope you love the show as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it, and I’d love to see you there for the public viewing - this Saturday 13th June 2-4pm ❤️

An impromtu capture of my latest watercolour & the inspiration behind it, before I wrap it up with the rest of my pieces to take to my solo show ‘Under Northern Skies’ for the preview opening this Saturday 6th June 2-3.30pm, with the show running until 12th July. Not a polished post but was excited to share it after only unwrapping it properly this morning to add certificates & info on the back before it’s wrapped again. A very natural & fluid piece capturing one of my favourite subject matters to paint in all painting mediums - water! (And the Lancaster canal of course, along this stretch of ) And of course the masses of greens in the trees above, mirrored into those big reflections, my main inspiration for the painting! Beautifully finished off in this solid oak box frame with to ensure the only reflections you see are those in the water in the painting itself! Thanks again Tom ‘Reflections of nature, Lancaster Canal’ original watercolour in cold pressed paper. Framed size 15” x 15” £400 framed & available now, (shipping available), and will be heading to available there from Saturday 6th June 2-3.30pm until 12th July. Emma Field Art

It’s almost exhibition time!
My next solo show, ‘Under Northern Skies’, opens on Saturday 6th June at The Wolf, Silverdale, and I’d love for you to join me for a special first look preview from 2.00 - 3.30pm.
Be among the first to see the exhibition, enjoy a drink, chat with me about the work, and share which pieces speak to you most. It would be wonderful to see you there!
Why not make a day of it and take a wander down to the beach? Whatever the weather, the coastline is always beautiful - especially beneath those moody skies with shifting light through the clouds over the Bay. Many of the paintings in this exhibition were inspired by exactly those moments, and I hope you’ll recognise and connect with that atmosphere when you see them.
Alongside a brand-new collection of smaller original paintings (which I’m so excited to share), I’ll also be showing a selection of my framed limited-edition giclée prints. The prints featured in this post are professionally framed in solid oak and showcase my 8” limited editions, priced at £120 framed. Mounted, unframed prints will also be available, starting at £40.
And, of course, you can always pop into the Wolf for a refuel while you’re there, with plenty of delicious treats on offer.
I’m really looking forward to the show and hope to see you at the preview.
Saturday 6th June | First Look Preview 2.00–3.30pm

My exhibtion is also part of the Silverdale & Arnside Art Festival 27th & 27th June so I’ll also be there for the whole weekend if you can’t make the preview and wanted to chat. If you can’t make it to the show but have seen something you’d love, please feel free to send me a message and I can arrange shipping for you.

Absolutely delighted to share that my submission for the next x exhibition has been selected to be part of the show - and I’m so happy and excited about it! It’s such a fantastic gallery & cannot wait to see the whole show. ‘Arrival of Spring, Calder Vale’ is one of my most recent oil paintings, painted in response to a recent walk in the beautiful Calder Vale woods to search for the bluebells - our annual tradition, but they don’t feature in this painting - this view stole my heart on the way back to the car and I knew it would be a joy to bring to life through paint, and indeed it was! P.V Saturday 27th June, 6pm onwards ✨ lancashireartist

Absolutely delighted to be finally sharing the news and info for my next upcoming solo show at the beautiful ‘Under Northern Skies’ - preview opening event happening 2 weeks tomorrow on Saturday 6th June, 2-3.30pm in The Bau, just across from the cafe next to the outdoor seating area - more details to follow…
I’m SO excited about the opportunity and feels very surreal that after visiting the Wolf over the years and admiring the old Wolf house gallery, while exploring and adventuring along the beautiful coastline in Silverdale & Arnside, always stopping off for some treats in the cafe, I’ll be hosting their first solo art exhibition in The Bau 💗 My exhibition will feature lots of local views, with many of my paintings emphasising the ever changing, beautiful light over the Bay, dramatic skies and atmosphere, translated through oil, acrylic and watercolour, and I can’t wait to share my brand new collection of smaller originals too, more info coming soon! What better location to showcase my work, right alongside the fantastic, cosy cafe that is with delicious food, treats and drinks to hand, a stunning environment and friendly staff to look after you, so why not take a walk along Silverdale coastline, stop off for a refuel and share a toast with me while I chat about my work, I would love to welcome you and see you there! Thank tou so much to Rachael & Sophie as always for the support and for making this happen!
