This was a really fun project for me, I’ve been a massive Dr Who fan since I first saw John Pertwee in the role around 1974.
I had planned to make a full size Tardis as a garden shed at some stage, so this was a good introduction to the making problems and difficulties.

We have made several Recording Studio desks over the years, mostly for home studios , but this one has the most beautiful wood grain. Walnut with a thermo-ash trim and was installed in a Studio in Dundonald.

There’s something beautiful about oak, this set of tables based on a Skobvy classic design, were made towards the end of last year, the dining table expands to seat 12 people comfortably along with its little brother coffee table.
All solid oak with an oiled finish.

This customer was going for a “New York Loft” vibe for her room, after many drawings, discussions and re-designs I think we nailed the look pretty well. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

The latest from the workshop is this modern cocktail cabinet.
Made from black walnut and wenge, this project took a lot of time to complete, featuring glass hangers, a pullout with space for bottle caps, corkscrew and a removable cutting board.
