Recent job.

Supplied, designed and installed all in house.

After taking out the suite and floor I uncovered some dormant problems to say the least!

Tiles on tiles and a rotten floor that I almost went through! So it was a case of start again.
New floor with reinforced timber noggins between joists, cut off all plumbing from the the entry into the room and renew with a 50 year guarantee pipework!

Been shifting a few walls around this week, bathroom furniture is being moved around for now as the big building work starts soon!

My client will need the downstairs toilet for the tradesmen to spend a penny whilst the other greater work is getting done.

Eventually the downstairs cloakroom will have a remodel after us tradesmen are finished with the messy work.

A little out of the norm for me but with a bit of confidence and years earned experience I’ve almost got this job nailed. Just got to go back next week to finish the solid oak door casing.

The job initially was to clad all walls with acoustic panels. My client was stressing about where to place the dining room table to seat 10 people. I thought on my feet and suggested turning the existing solid oak fire door into a self closing pocket door. All new solid oak skirting board and stud wall to accommodate the door etc.

I and my client are very happy with the almost complete job.

Recent job in Hinstock.

The job initially involved replacing a water damaged sink unit on a breakfast bar peninsula. My client liked the new unit, doors and end panels so much so that they decided to change the rest of the kitchen.

This was a sage green shaker style door etc.

All supplied and fitted from start to finish.

My Client is completely satisfied with the transformation, it looks like a new kitchen for a fraction of the price of a brand new one.
All doors, end panels, plinths and cornice fitted onto the existing units.

It’s been a while since I last posted on here. It’s been very busy since the start of the year and has been none stop!

The building trade for me and other independent firms seems to be booming!
Had a bitty week with LVT flooring which stands for LUXURY VINYL TILES.

LUXURY VINYL TILES come in many shapes, sizes and colours. You’ll see that these two jobs are different. One is a stone tile imitation, the other is oak planks.
They are 100% water proof, have a built in UV so don’t fade. They are also grippy under foot and warmer than tiles. A great feature too is that they have a 20 year warranty.
