We were back on City fields in Wakefield to create a large wrap around paved area in the timeless Raj Green sandstone, which is beautiful both dry and wet, so looks fantastic all year round. We extended out and to the side of the house, which was previously an unusable strip of grass, so added lots of outdoor space.
Next up the slope to nowhere, we dug out, retained both neighbouring gardens and fitted a lovely raised deck with sleeper planters to both add colour and act as a natural barrier to prevent falling off, after a drink or 2! The new lawn really finished the garden off! A largely unusable garden transformed in to really lovely, usable space to enjoy.

A large 400 sq metre garden that has been left to stand for almost a year whilst building work took place.
We removed all the overgrowth, which in places was head high. We then rotovated the area several times, removing any weeds and roots on each pass, we removed around 15 tonnes of waste in total!. Once we had a blank canvas, we carried out some repairs to the existing fence, re-laid the poor quality steps and fitting new fencing along the retaining wall.
We then brought in 30 tonne fresh soil to both help with levels and add nutrients to the ground before laying 400 metres of premium turf. A large area for the customer to keep watered so we also assisted with this, rigging up a sprinkler system.

A large project we carried out in stages on the Strata Verve development in Glasshoughton
A large porcelain patio in quartz grey, edged with charcoal pavers to define it, the same paving was continued to meet the newly constructed garden room.
Due to the boggy nature of the garden and the customer having dogs, we returned to lay a premium 40mm artificial lawn and some contemporary fencing which also acted as a wind break around the main seating area. Also creating some planters around the garden to add the colour
From a typical, bland new build plot, to a real showstopper of a garden that pictures don't do the justice to.

We took over a project after the previous contractor unfortunately started and never returned. Thankfully they didn't, as their preparation work was substandard and wouldn't have lasted.
We removed the prep they'd done and started from scratch and the results were fantastic 😍.
We created raised borders using railway sleepers to allow for plenty of planting.. we also used sleepers to raise the rear paved area. The paving we decided on was porcelain in Raj Green and what a great choice, the finish is stunning 🤩 We edged this with a traditional Raj Green cobble to finish. We also laid a new lawn, adding drainage to what was previously a very boggy garden. Finally we created a lean to roof for storing furniture, BBQ etc, in what was previously unused an area of garden behind the garage.
Needless to say, the customers were over the moon after waiting months for the previous tradesman but the wait was worth it!

Another stunning garden project which our customer kindly forwarded some pictures of, now the planting has matured.
A sloped garden we tiered in to 2 large seating areas, using railway sleepers to split the levels. We created further planting areas to soften the hard landscaping and the results are beautiful. We used our favourite Aged Kandla grey porcelain paving with charcoal plank edging, all supplied by RF Landscape Products - RF Paving . Also fitting an adjustable sun shade, in what is a real sun trap of a garden. 😎

⭐️Inspiration alert⭐️ We were recommended to a new customer and tasked with designing a low maintenance family garden with plenty of space for entertaining and this was the result.
2 large seating areas using our popular Aged Kandla porcelain, extensive raised beds to allow for plenty of planting to break up the garden, a premium artificial, pet friendly lawn that can be used all year round and the focal point of the garden, a bespoke pergola, made to measure on site.
We wish this was our garden and hope our lovely customers enjoy it for years to come.

Another sloped, unusable garden transformed .
Sleepers were used to create raised beds and steps as well as retain the surrounding gardens. We then brought in type 3 MOT to assist with drainage in what was a very boggy garden, before laying Kandla grey paving. We also removed the standard clay and rubble left on new builds and replaced with 3 tonne of fertile top soil and turf to create the new lawn to soften the garden.

A great space ready for all the family to enjoy.
