Taking this spruce down safely, one section at a time 🌲🪵

With limited space and surrounding fences, sheds, and neighbouring properties, this job required a careful sectional dismantle. Each stem section was chunked down in small pieces, landing onto a cushioned pile of branches below to help prevent damage to the garden.

This overgrown spruce had become too large for the garden, blocking light and dominating the surrounding space. Positioned close to neighbouring properties and garden structures, careful dismantling was essential to remove it safely and efficiently.

Out today getting 2 jobs done for 2 separate customers, and also priced up a couple more while we were at it 👍

🌳 First job was a silver birch with a rotten base, so it had to come down before it caused any problems. Safely removed and all cleared away.

🌿 Second job was a laurel hedge that had got a bit out of control, trimmed back to the boundary and reduced to a much better height.

Everything left tidy and two happy customers to finish the day 👌

This tree needed to be climbed and dismantled in sections due to its position. Our climber accessed the crown and worked from the top down, removing limbs in controlled pieces to keep everything safe below.

🌳 Recent Work Completed for Hunslet Moor Primary School 🌳

The team at Lime Tree Surgeons recently carried out tree and vegetation management at a Hunslet Primary School , Leeds.

Our work included:

✔️ Climbing the Silver Birch and safely removing the broken/failed top section using sectional dismantling
✔️ Removing one specified lower limb from the smaller trees to gain more clearance over the path
✔️ Trimming back heavy ivy growth along the boundary to approximately 8 feet in height
✔️ Removing and responsibly disposing of all arisings from the works

This helped improve safety, visibility, and general site maintenance around the school boundary.

These three large conifers had become overgrown, were touching the building, and encroaching onto the property. They were blocking natural light, restricting visibility, and beginning to affect the structure.
We carried out a safe, controlled sectional dismantle and fully removed all three trees without damage to the surrounding fence or buildings.
