Chicken Biryani Recipe🍗

🌟Ingredients For Chicken Marination
1 kg Chicken
2 tbs Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tbs turmeric powder
2 green chillies
2 tbs mint leaves powder
1 tbs salt
4 tbs biryani masala
Handful chopped coriander 🌿
Let the marination rest for atleast 30mins
Ingredients for Biryani Recipe:
- In a vessel add 4 tbs oil, once oil is heated well then add 5 cloves, 2 bay leaf, 3 black pepper, 2 big cardamoms, 2-3 star anise
-Fry 1 big chopped onion until golden brown🧅 once onions are fried and ready add
- 1 medium sized chopped potato 🥔 fry until cooked
- Then add marinated chicken and cook it well on a high flame 🔥 once chicken is cooked 80%
-Then add 2 medium sized chopped tomatoes 🍅 cover it and cook it well.
- Till the chicken is getting cooked let’s start by making briyani rice 🍚
Biryani Rice Recipe:
- In a vessel add 1 tbs oil, once oil is heated well then add 3 cloves, 2 bay leaf, 3 black pepper, 2 big cardamoms, 2-3 star anise.
- Then add 3 cups basmati or any rice which you want which should be washed thoroughly before adding to the vessel.
- Add 4 cups water
- 1 tbs of salt 🧂
- Cook the rice 95% and the strain the water 🌾
🌟I personally don’t like to throw away the rice water which we also call kanji as it is very healthy to drink rice water also why to waste it😀
- Now start by layering the biryani with some chicken gravy down then the rice 🍚
I have added the rice directly without layering it’s purely your choice😊🙃
- Add some saffron strands in milk or ghee and decorate the biryani with it you can also use food colour again this is purely your choice.
- Keep the biryani on dum for atleast 15mins

🌟Secret Tip: you can add salt while frying the onions as it will help in cooking them crispy and quickly.
