Spring Cleaning!!
A great deal of clearing and re-organising is happening, throwing up many items that are rarely or infrequently required - made we wonder, how many of our newer customers know what we were originally 'about', or all the things we have sold down the years.
While our bread and butter is really spiral balance solutions, cord balances (increasingly the tilt and slide variety), folding opener gear and steel window fittings, our roots were planted with cord balances and roller shutter weatherproofing.
Really?? I know, right??
We sold tens of thousands of cord balances for Avdon, Ducana and Dinsmore type windows back in the early 90s; roller shutter weatherseal (we sold wraparound type seal and a 2 part seal for bottom rails, and draughtseal to clip down the sides of shutters to keep the cold out - way before any of your legislation for heat loss, U values and Document L got it's grip) and we've been a steadfast stockist for Smith Wallis and Caldwell brands, among others since late 90s.
While we can easily cope with the unusual we also ship out complete window kits for VSS systems to fabricators and repair companies for refurbs, conversions and the like.
