Customer called us out when water was pouring in his bathroom extension and when we took a look out of the velux window in the bathroom we couldn’t believe what we saw.

Plain tiles on a virtually flat roof. Plain tiles work with a minimum pitch of 35* and once we got our pitch finder on this roof it was only 8*.

With no tiles going down to that low pitch there was no other option other than installing a flat roof product.

New black half round guttering also installed.

Customer very happy with the work carried out and has the peace of mind that no more water will be coming through his ceiling.

Well today we was putting this mess right for an elderly lady that was ripped off by a local roofing company for a hell of a lot of money.

Please be aware that if anyone is knocking your door and telling you your roof needs work doing then chances are their intentions are no good.

All ridges stripped off, cleaned and re-bedded.

You don’t see much of this around here….

This recent refurbished bungalows customer liked the look of the Brazilian slates…

Although pleasing on the eye the Brazilian slate goes against the grain and are very fragile and can snap and crack very easily especially when nailed so with there being a lot of movement and work carried out in this building we decided to use the French 🇫🇷 hook system..
This allow the slates a little movement although be securely fastened down, wind resistant,a lot less likely to break and a lot less wastage.
All finished of with a dry no maintenance finish using dry verge and ridges for customers piece of mind for many winters to come

Despite the weather we’ve managed to crack on and get this one finished as scheduled

A large terraced was at its end of life suffering from nail rot on 9x9 slates 🤦‍♂️and 3 old unused chimneys which was literally crumbling down and wouldn’t of survived another winter to keep our customer dry

So we dismantled the chimneys and installed a new roof using a larger reclaimed Welsh slate courtesy of Cresta Roofing Supplies (at a fantastic price) with kyton dry verges for a no maintenance finish on the gable ends topping up insulation where needed to give the customers piece of mind for many years to come

COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION

Welsh 10x6 slates off and new cement fibre rivendale slates on.

Existing soffit and fascias were rotten, so we replaced them with new white PVC throughout and full gutter replacement.

Roof light also added to the side elevation.

Terracotta ridge finishing off the look this new roof 👌
