I have recently developed a NEW colouring book for grown-ups to accompany 'The Angel at the Bottom of the Garden'. The Angel book is very much about asking question about life, by listening to a person explore those questions for themselves. I felt it was important for the book to be colourful and fun, so I used visual images to help the reader ponder on those questions. The NEW colouring book takes the 'conversation' onto the next stage as I explain the inspiration behind the book, and offer the opportunity to the reader to reflect, using pictures and words.
A quote from me:
"Writing stories is new to me. I had always wanted to write a book since I was a child, but I wasn't sure what to write and I certainly never envisaged illustrating my own words. But I chose to take some time out from work and a series of events took place in my life and from those experiences came this story.
You see I realised I had been neglecting my soul. So I set out on a quest to find out more about the spiritual side of life. Going back to my memories from childhood I began with Jesus, and there I found wisdom that would change my life forever. I thought I would share some of the things I have heard with you, so I have included a picture book for you to use in whatever way suits you."
