I always know when Miriam The Weaver drops me a message asking if I can make something that it's going to be a fun challenge.

I don't always succeed either, but these tiny little looms were quite a success.

Unfortunately I have no idea what I'm doing with them, so I can't share any photos of work in progress but I'm sure Miriam will make something beautiful and I'll be able to share her creation.

I'm loving my mini flower press at the moment, but the laser side of Cobalt started with something much smaller...

These little wooden stud earrings were the first things I created when I had to take a break from bigger jobs a few years ago, and they're still making visitors to my workshop smile on a regular basis 😀

One of my Flower presses ready to post out.

Since day one, Cobalt has been about sustainability, and one thing I love is being able to give materials from other businesses in Leigh Spinners Mill a second use.

The flower press cardboard inserts, and the packaging inserts that hold it steady in the post, are made from used packaging kindly donated by Black Tarmac
