A little Fencing job this week. One of those jobs, I don't need to complete at once, 2 panels installed yesterday, the first taking over 3hrs to get a stubborn met post out the ground. I started at half 12 and gave up just after 5 having done 2 panels. Done a further 2 today went up in record time of 90 mins. Just 1 to go but saving that for the weekend.

And now into the last 3 working weeks for 2025. That went quick 😳 but all in a not a to bad year for both work and weather. Spring followed by a long dry and at times hot summer came until August when the weather broke and the rain returned. My Personal life took a turn in September when my time was split daily caring for my dad with hospital trips on a daily basis.

For now he is okay but still needs my help, dividing work and care is not easy and I can appreciate and applaud carers who do this is a living or family members who do this because it's their duty to.

As we head into winter, I will still be out working and heading into 2026 can now finally see a path to be able to cover more work and provide long term care. Spaces will be filled before the spring and now is the time to get booked in for a pre Spring tidy and secure a slot for the new year.

Covering Leighton/Linslade and a 3 mile radius of villages around get in touch now for more information or even advice.

Merry Christmas from me to you.

From September, I have a limited number of garden maintenance slots available.

Either Weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or perhaps you just need adhoc work or even the autumn/winter tidy up booked in.

Serving Leighton Buzzard/Linslade and also surrounding villages of Wing/Soulbury, Slapton and Mentmore. With 30 years experience and a growing business, now is the time to secure a regular slot going forward into next year.

Well we certainly can't complain to much about the weather this year. Though I think some rain would be needed about now. Gardens are slowing right down, grass yellow in places. The early autumn drop of leaves that usually occurs in August is a month early as trees go into survival mode and put energy into root growth trying to find water.

I used last week to take a few days off. Thursday a day trip to Cambridge along with a punt on the river. Friday went to one of my favourite local gardens and not far from one of my maintenance jobs in Oxfordshire. Both very hot days but very enjoyable and needed. Waterperry Gardens

While waiting for Spring to kick in and grass to grow, I've used days off to decorate. All finished this morning and now time to crack on with dinner, with my mum coming round for dinner. What ever you're up to today, enjoy the day and looks like good weather is set for the next few days too. 😀
