A genuine massive thank you to all the landlords , estate agents, solicitors and individual homeowners who have used Future Design Architecture for their EPCs over the past few months. This has allowed us to donate £200 to Children's Hospices Across Scotland simply by using the service. The company made a commitment at the end of last year to make a donation to CHAS each time our EPC service was used and we will continue to do so for 2025.
Hopefully we can at least double the amount for next year.

It been a while since posting anything so we thought its probably a good time of year to start getting back into the rhythm of it again.

here is a recent project of ours in Anstruther. A single storey rear extension forming kitchen with seating area and utility. Clients brief was to create a warm and relaxing space looking out into the garden area.

By providing a few design options the client was able to see which option was best for them before progressing onto the next stage and obtaining a COLP and warrant application.

There’s a first time for everything. Our clients who were neighbours asked for the same front extension to their property which allowed us to design and gain approvals simultaneously. Resulting in the chosen contractor also doing both builds together 🏡

Unfortunately we have had some computer issues over the last couple of weeks which has been out of our control and taken longer than expected to fix.

Although not guaranteed yet, we do hope to be back up and running by the start of next week.

Please bare with us while we work through all back dated work which will be our main priority.

Always do your research when buying a property.
Conservation areas are applied for a reason. Same goes with listed buildings.

If your not will to appreciate these areas and listed buildings when doing work then we would advise to think twice when purchasing as it could prove to be a costly oversight and project.

Planning could have been given the go-ahead had the design been better, Midlothian councillors ruled this week.

One of our projects this year that we designed for our client. We also overseen the project during construction with regards to obtaining the completion certificate and supplied the absolutely stunning kitchen to the client.
