When people find out I'm an interior designer, they often assume my job is choosing paint colours, cushions and accessories.
The reality is very different.
Most of my time is spent thinking about things you can't always see at first glance.
Light.
Layout.
Proportion.
Flow.
Whether that sofa is actually the right size.
Whether those curtains will make the room feel taller.
Whether that paint colour will still work at 4pm on a winter afternoon.
Good design isn't about filling a room with beautiful things.
It's about making hundreds of small decisions that work together.
If I could teach you just 10 things about your home, these would be them.
Which one surprised you most?

If you're currently staring at a room that doesn't feel quite right, this is exactly the sort of thing I help clients with.
Whether it's a Design Hour, a Vision package, an Autograph project or a full Private Client Design service, the process always starts in the same place:
Understanding why a room feels the way it does before making expensive decisions.
