Every year my Nana has proudly taking me to St George's Hall Liverpool on Poppy Day.
I have spent my entire life hearing her war stories, and all of the tales her father told her from his soldier days have been recited to me so many times, I feel as though I was there myself.
It’s now me who takes her to poppy day, and I tell her the stories she once told me.

Last year she was held captive from everyone who loves her so although she couldn’t be there in body, I was there with a photo honouring her, and her father, my great grandad.

This year, she is once again back with the people who love her, and joined us in the tradition that she started. A tradition I will continue to honour, because as always my Nora-Mac “on the days you don’t remember, I’ll remember for the both of us “

When you go home, tell them of us and say “for your tomorrow, we gave our today”

At the going down of the Sun and in the morning, we will remember them 🎖️🥀

She might have ordered me to do 99.9% of her painting for her while she watched, but her mates had a lovely time doing their own paintings 🥰🫶🏼👩🏻‍🎨 🎨

The fact our faces are a remix of thousands of years worth of other people loving each other’s faces is such a wonderful thing.

For you to even biologically exist in just the last 12 generations (about 250 - 300 years) you needed 4094 ancestors to get it on.

Imagine how much love and absolute chaos that went on for you to even exist right here and now 🤯

The Alzheimer's Society
Nora-Mac was driven around in her chair like the little queen she is, by some of the wonderful people in her circle.

Our goal was to raise awareness about the devastation that the UKs biggest killer - Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease- has on so many. However we’ve also had some really kind donations too, we’ve attached the link below in the comments if anyone else feels they wish to donate.

Our gorgeous girl is surrounded by love and positivity, but no amount of love and positivity can protect people from this thief of a disease, so helping find a cure NOW might change the future for your generation or the next.

Hopefully one day Dementia and Alzheimer’s loses it’s title of the UKs biggest killer and is nothing but a chapter in the history books, but we need your help TODAY to try to make that possible.

Me and my Queen B are doing the Alzheimer’s society “memory walk” on Sunday, with my Nana in her wheelchair.
Some of my gorgeous gang of supportive souls and their little ones are coming along for the stroll with us.

We have created a team for any Nora-Mac fans and supporters to join, and your friends and family members too, it’s a child friendly walk too, but they have said no dogs allowed.

My nana has always been my rock my entire life. Watching her decline so drastically to this consuming evil disease has been a helpless place to be. Unfortunately she has declined massively since experiencing psychological torture, emotional abuse and isolated from all who love her for 8 months last year, but now she is surrounded by our love again we can do things like this for and with her. She has been diagnosed with vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s, so although this cruel disease has been something I have worked closely with for years, it now fully effects the other half of my heart, my Nana Bear.

I wasn’t going to ask anyone for donations because times are hard for everyone and I was planning on only raising awareness and help educate anyone who wants to learn about dementia and it’s effects, so that’s what my main goal is.

However I’ve just had an email off the Alzheimer’s society asking about donations and what the money can fund for such a worthwhile cause, so if you do want to donate I’ve attached the link that sends your donations straight to them, via our team

Hello Everyone it’s my most favourite person in the world MY NANA’S 90th birthday in a matter of days.

If any of her lovely fans and followers and customers want to send me any pics or words to add to one of the albums I’m making her of her creations please do so as soon as possible.
Thanks for supporting her hobby for so long until she physically and mentally could no longer do it, you are all amazing.

We are doing the Alzheimer’s society “memory walk” on Sunday 1st September at Aintree racetrack. There is a 2k wheelchair friendly track we will be taking, meeting at 10:20am.

We had the option to “create a team” on the Alzheimer’s fund raising page so we have done this for any of Nora-Mac fans and supporters to join, and your friends and family members too It’s a child friendly walk too but they have said no dogs allowed.

So many are effected by this horrible disease.

Everyone and anyone is more than welcome to meet us there, so we have named our team Nora’s Law / Arranmore Park to make it easier to find when registering on the link provided if anyone else wants to be a part of it. You need to register soon so you can get your t-shirt and pack they send you, before they close the applications, as there isn’t a date for this they just close it when it’s full.
