BUILDING WARRANT SUBMITTED FOR OUR COMMERCIAL CLIENT

We’ve just completed and submitted a building warrant for a commercial client who recently took over a new industrial unit. As part of their business requirements, the space needed a compliant tea prep area and WC facilities, and we were brought on board to prepare the warrant drawings, documentation and supporting notes required for approval.

NEW COMMERCIAL PROJECT — MEASURED SURVEY

Out on site today in the sunshine carrying out a full measured survey for a new commercial client as we begin work on their internal alteration project.

This survey gives us the accurate baseline information we need to develop the proposed layout changes and prepare the technical drawings required for the building warrant, ensuring everything is fully compliant before any construction work begins.

NEW REAR EXTENSION PROJECT UNDERWAY – PLANNING STAGE

Behind the scenes, we’ve been developing a client’s proposal for a new rear extension shaping ideas, refining layouts, and preparing the design for submission.

For this project, we’re progressing under Permitted Development (PD) and will be submitting the proposal through this route. When a design meets PD criteria, it allows certain extensions to be built without needing full planning permission, making the process quicker and more efficient.

To qualify for Permitted Development the proposal must:

Stay within the allowed depth and height limits
Use materials similar to the existing house
Avoid impacting neighbours beyond set guidelines
Remain within the defined PD footprint and volume limits
