A blast from the past! The side extension proportion of this wrap around kitchen extension is constructed with stacked creasing tiles. Somehow the tone and texture of this material both contrasts and integrates with the yellow London brick.

Concept 3D visualisation for a single storey rear extension and loft conversion to a conservation area locally listed heritage building.
The intention was to propose an extension that compliments the richness of Edwardian Architecture.
We therefore designed the extension with hints of Edwardian flavour and charm whilst balancing subtle contemporary and modernist influences.
The inclusion of a recessed and soldier course around the doors and the vertical brickwork will complement the playful mixed brick borders that are a prominent existing feature to the house.
The design of the timber frame garden doors have influences from Edwardian to 1920’s modernist styles brought together to create what we believe are contemporary yet traditional style door sets. We particularly feel that the arched glazing bars will soften the facade; arched headers to doors and window glazing panels are featured in Edwardian architecture.
The spirit of Edwardian architecture was highly influenced by the arts and crafts era, with arts and crafts being characterised by combining different architectural styles resulting in a playful charm.

Proposed 3D drawings for a wrap-around kitchen extension and a loft conversion that provide a refreshing facelift to an otherwise tired looking house. The new materials have been carefully selected to complement and enhance the existing property as well as the area.

Our brief for this project was to design a loft conversion for two sister that included equally sized bedrooms with double beds and desks.
Smart and efficient use of space ensures that storage is provided in multiple places without overcrowding.
We also included an additional playroom, which in time can be converted into a study room.
The compact shower room is practical and modern.

Extensive extensions, full renovation and complete facelift to create this beautiful modern family home.
When we took this project on, the original house was in a state of neglect and major disrepair. As well as looking aged, the interior layout was disjointed and impractical.
We could however see that there was tremendous potential on this site for major transformation.
Rather than a complete demolition and rebuild, we cleverly integrated and upgraded some of the existing structure into the new layout, resulting in significant construction savings for our Cleint.

Three years ago we designed this garden studio for a good friend and talented artist Dan Whiteson.
Balancing home life with a young family and his practice, Dan now has peaceful and airy place away from the main house that provides a haven for inspiration and a new environment for his ever evolving creativity.
The beautiful piece of artwork I am holding is a gift from Dan that he lovingly painted within that very studio. The piece is a great example of how his art has developed after years of life drawing and it now hangs pride of place in my living room. Thank you

Another beautifully finished loft conversion.
Although it’s not a traditional material in Edwardian architecture, zinc cladding integrates by providing a lightweight appearance.

Not your average loft conversion.
This contemporary loft conversion has been constructed using traditional material and is a great example of what can be achieved through good design and careful planning. As well as making efficient use of space, the interior is both light and airy.
