A sneak peek into our recently completed garden in Esher, Surrey — a calm, layered space designed for year-round structure, texture, and quiet moments outdoors.

From the architectural planting to the softened natural palette, every detail was considered to create a garden that feels both refined and deeply connected to its surroundings.

More from this project coming soon.

Do you know what is the most asked feature to include in our gardens?

OUTDOOR KITCHENS!

And honestly, it’s easy to see why. They transform a garden from something you simply look at into a space you truly live in. Cooking outside brings people together, creates a natural focal point, and makes entertaining feel effortless.

From morning coffees in the fresh air to summer dinners with friends, an outdoor kitchen extends the way you use your home and garden throughout the year. It’s not just about a BBQ anymore — think integrated worktops, storage, pizza ovens, fridges, lighting, and beautifully designed seating areas that feel like a true extension of the house.

After

What we love most about transforming a garden is that we are never just redesigning an outdoor space — we are changing the way someone lives.

Before

Seeing a neglected or unused space become somewhere that inspires joy, relaxation, and meaningful memories is the most rewarding part of what we do. Every transformation is not only about beauty, but about improving the quality of life for the people who experience it every day.

A garden has the power to influence daily routines, create moments of calm, bring families together, and reconnect people with nature.

Small but cute!

This garden in Ealing was designed to feel calm, bright and spacious, using a soft palette of light pale tones to enhance the sense of openness and reflect the light beautifully.

A bespoke L-shaped bench, built from reclaimed brick and timber, adds warmth, character and practical seating, while layered planting softens the clean lines and brings movement through the seasons.

Hydrangea Annabelle • What most people admire as the huge white flower head is largely made of showy sterile florets—petal-like sepals whose job is visual attraction. The true fertile flowers are much smaller and less conspicuous. So the dramatic bloom is partly a botanical illusion.

A three-level garden, reimagined in Cobham.

The original space felt disconnected, with level changes that worked against the garden rather than with it.
We restructured the layout to turn these shifts into an asset, creating a sequence of spaces that unfold naturally from one level to the next.

Terracing, defined transitions and layered planting bring cohesion and flow, while each level now serves a clear purpose.

Completed garden in Cobham.

Designed as a series of connected spaces, the layout moves from dining and cooking to a more intimate seating area, anchored by a curved bench and firepit.

Floating steps have become a recurring element in our work — here they guide movement between levels while keeping the space open and uninterrupted.

The curved bench softens the geometry, blending into the steps to create a transition that feels quiet and considered.

Lighting is integrated throughout, allowing the garden to shift naturally into evening use.

A space designed to be used as much at night as during the day.

Our floating steps are becoming a signature element in our work, here they gently guide you between levels while keeping the space feeling open and architectural. The curved bench softens the geometry, seamlessly transitioning into one of the steps to create a detail that feels both considered and effortless.

The outdoor kitchen and dining area form the social heart of the garden, designed for gathering, hosting, and everyday living. Clean lines are balanced with layered planting to bring movement, texture, and a sense of calm.

A contemporary space, but never cold, designed with soul, and made to be lived in.
