Last RIBA Student practice visit of 2025!

This week, RIBA London student members visited RIBA Chartered Practice, Ā , which offered us a guided tour of the office and provided insights to our students on how the team approaches design, collaboration and project delivery across a range of work.

Thank you to Make Architects for having us in the studio. A special thank you to Roshan Dsouza for arranging and hosting the visit, and to Chris, Maisie, and Dana for sharing their journeys and experiences as architects. Their openness, practical advice, and personal reflections inspire students on what a career in architecture can look like.

If your practice would like to host a group of students in a similar format or simply want to know more about the RIBA student practice visits , please get in touch at [email protected].

Last night, we celebrated the creativity and curiosity of London’s emerging architects at the London Student Awards 2025, held at the

It was an evening full of creativity, encouragement, and optimism and a reminder that the future of architecture is in great hands.

The event brought together students, educators, and practitioners from 11 London architecture schools to recognise outstanding work exploring sustainability, climate resilience, and inclusivity.

The Vandersanden Diversity Award, supported by our partners , once again shone a light on projects that champion diversity and representation within the built environment.

A huge thank you to Woods Bagot for reflecting on the importance of connecting academia and practice — and for supplying the catering for the evening!

We’re also incredibly grateful to for a thought-provoking keynote, and .m_design for sharing her inspiring journey as the first

The group is led by Regional Engagement Partner, AurƩlia Amanitis and elected Chair Julie (ann) Futcher, with support on the day provided by Oriana Fernandez and Tanis Paul in addition to members of the North London Architects Group.
