de Le Cuona

de Le Cuona de Le Cuona is renowned for the beauty and quality of its exquisitely understated natural fabrics responsibly crafted from the world’s finest natural fibres.

It was a love of linen and an attention to detail that first fired Bernie de Le Cuona’s desire to create beautiful fabrics. An adventurous spirit born out of Africa and a passion for discovery seeking out the best quality natural fibres and the finest artisans to work with. While travelling in Belgium, Bernie was introduced to linen and the beauty of this robust yet gentle fabric. The versatility

and ways linen can feel and be handled conquered her mind. The flax field amazed her, as the best flax was grown here. The next stop was India, where Bernie was inspired by the way Indian craftsmen produced silk – all weaving and finishing was done by hand. The attention to detail was incredible! She immediately thought that the softening technique can be applied to linen. With all the knowledge and inspiration from these trips Bernie established de Le Cuona with the passion to make linen fabrics that the world had never seen before – wonderfully floppy, soft and textured. These textures, complemented by the distinctive colour palette inspired by Africa, made de Le Cuona’s collections truly unique.

Depth, movement and character.

Shamba is a beautifully soft and floppy blend of linen and h**p, woven with a subtle herringbone structure that gives the cloth depth, movement and an understated tactile richness. The interplay of long filament linen in the warp and fine linen and h**p in the weft creates a naturally refined fabric with a relaxed yet elevated character.

Shown here in Cashew, Shiitake, Rye, Carob and Coconut Shell, each colourway brings a different nuance to the weave while retaining the same grounded material presence.

A signature pattern, expressed in colour and detail.

The Elizabeth Paisley Cushion sits at the heart of the Summer Signature Accessory Collection, where intricately woven yarns form a flowing, organic motif with remarkable depth and nuance. Shown in Pheasant, Partridge and Cygnet, each colourway reveals a different facet of the design, from richer, more grounded tones to lighter, more refined expressions.

In the second setting, the cushion is placed within a broader composition of textures, where Cave Cloth, Tosca, Salopette, Vienna and Nara introduce contrast through weave, structure and finish. The Elizabeth Throw in Partridge extends the story, echoing the pattern with a softly tailored edge.

Set against a bespoke ottoman in Cactus Root, paired with an English Burr Oak pedestal side table by , and a wall painted in Burntwood, the palette deepens, allowing the detail of the weave to come forward.

Texture and tone in harmony.

Cushions from the Signature Accessories 2026 collection take focus, where Strata Pampas, Cape Taupe, Nara Thistle and Elizabeth Paisley Cygnet create a layered interplay of fringe, panelled construction and woven pattern. Each piece brings its own character, united by the richness of natural fibres and handcrafted details.

A Petra Throw in Alabaster complements the arrangement, its diamond detailing and softly knotted fringe adding a quiet sense of structure and refinement.

These pieces sit within a bespoke setting, with a Savant sofa in Stonewashed Corduroy Cream providing a soft, neutral foundation that allows the textures and tones of the accessories to come forward.

In the background, Moya in Rice filters the light through a delicate sheer, while the scene is completed with the Cloud Coffee Table by , Anders Lampshade by and Everywhere White paint.
