We are two North London based garden designers / horticulturists with a passion for all things green and a mutual interest in design, colour and texture. Working with you, we can create a garden that suits your style, your requirements and most importantly your site and budget. We don't stick to one style and will create a unique garden for you, whether you're looking for a contemporary scheme, a

traditional cottage garden, or a flamboyant, colourful border - or even a mix of those! Get some inspiration by browsing through our photo albums, which show some of the gardens we've designed and planted.

Wishing we were working outdoors on this beautiful Spring day, but excited to be involved in this Design project, transforming a long narrow garden into a series of interesting “rooms” featuring Corten water troughs, raised borders, seating areas and focal points, with soft and contemporary planting providing year round interest

This contemporary front garden in Muswell Hill was a complete blank canvass when we planted it in the Autumn two years ago. Today it is a living tapestry full of layered texture and interest.
We were back for some horticultural maintenance this week and were delighted to see how the garden has matured!

We will be taking a little break from planting over the summer while the ground is too dry and nursery stocks are depleted.

This very small garden was a challenging space to transform but good design and planting can make any area enjoyable and interesting! Definitely a case of softening the angles.
This was designed and built over the winter but planted only two months ago…

Rather happy with this small garden transformation for a lovely client who is battling illness and wanted to minimise maintenance, add colour and a seating area in the shade. We got rid of the Astroturf and opted for gravel and stepping stones, purchased and grouped some very large pots and containers and planted the borders with shrubs which will provide year round interest. All done in two days!

Our annual visit to Chelsea - every year we try to take away something different from it and this time we were particularly looking at shapes and structures, so important in garden design - they create visual interest and guide the eye, and provide the perfect framework for planting. Lots of inspiration and techniques that can be applied to a smaller London garden!

Re visiting a garden that we fully re-designed and planted two years ago following a large extension to the rear of the house. The original lawn shape was changed to reflect the new contemporary kitchen layout and to allow the garden to become an extension of the house. A new patio / seating area was added to the back and borders planted with a mixture of flowering shrubs and modern perennials bringing all year round interest - so important if your garden is in constant display through large floor-to-ceiling windows!

Gardens are work in progress, they evolve and change and need adjusting regularly, which is why we offer horticultural maintenance for gardens that we’ve designed. Once or twice a year, we w**d, feed, recondition the soil, reshape, move plants or supplement planting if needed and finish up with a good mulch! Ready for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine ☀️☀️☀️
