Just Before The Snow

Acrylic on canvas
20cm x 25cm
2026

The latest of my abstract landscapes, this one wallows in winter.

It’s always fascinated me how we can sense when it’s about to snow. A thrilling, atmospheric tang seems to permeate the world. I’ve tried to capture that foreboding magic with a muted palette shot through with a fizzing lilac.

Himalaya 1 & 2

Acrylic on canvas
20cm x 25cm
2026

A new pair of paintings that are part of my series on mountainscapes. Love their epic expanses, sheer lines and innately abstract form.

With these two works I wanted to evoke the majesty of the Himalayas. The heat of the foothills, the stacked hazy strata.

I also feel mountains tend to occupy a masculine space in human geography. As I am with my figures, I’m interested in exploring how gender identity can be manipulated and reshaped.

Available for purchase or on my website, separately or as a pair. Link in bio.

‘Gold In His Pocket’

Acrylic on canvas
20cm x 25cm
2026
A new abstract landscape, this time full of autumnal warmth.

Here I tried to create that inner cosiness that we discover in autumn. The world is turning to winter but there’s still so much bounty around us. For me, it’s a particularly golden season. There’s still the aftertaste of long hot days but it’s matched with the excitement of new terms and a cultural regathering.

‘Tonight, We Dance’

Acrylic on canvas
20cm x 25cm
2026

An abstract painting of a midsummer landscape, inspired by a balmy evening and the energy that brings to the world. So many possibilities, so much excitement. The dusk before all the fun begins. I used very loose brushstrokes for the lawn so that it glows like a river with the heat of the day’s sun.

‘Huddle and Glow’

Acrylic on canvas
20cm x 25cm
2026

Inspired a little by Edvard Munch, the vibrant colours and liquid lines of his landscapes. With this painting, I wanted to explore the possibility of the group of trees to taking on a personality of their own. A close knit gathering of like-minded friends facing the world together.

‘Alpine 1 & 2’

Acrylic on canvas
20 x 25 cm
2026

I’m developing quite a thing for mountain scapes. Love their epic expanses, sheer lines and innately abstract form.

With these two works I wanted to reproduce that minty freshness that I associate with the alps. Cool, austere and yet playful.

I also feel mountains occupy a masculine space in human geography. As I am with my figures, I’m interested in exploring how gender identity can be manipulated and reshaped.

This pair will be on show from Wednesday Spring collection. Available to purchase singularly or together.

‘As All Awakens’

Acrylic on canvas
20 x 25 cm
2026

Inspired by Spring, this is the first of a new series of abstract landscapes I’ve been having fun with.

There’s an intensity of colour specific to spring foliage that matches our burgeoning hope of warmer days and all the joy they bring with them.

I’m find painting small really lends itself to abstracting a scene and breaking it up into its component parts. They’re also an excellent vehicle for painterly experiments.

A new painting that will be on show in the Spring collection from next week.
