We are hiring - Senior Project Architect
Job description
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic qualified ARB or RIBA Project Architect with an all-rounded skillset. Capable of independently running small to medium-sized residential projects through all RIBA stages, with previous London and the Southeast projects as evidence to discuss in a well-presented portfolio. Based in Surrey and working across a range of bespoke luxury residential, this role will provide a chance to take on lots of responsibilities and continue to learn and develop your design, project, and managerial skills working on a mixture of residential schemes including one-off high-end houses and multiple unit schemes.
The scope of operations is primarily on new build residential work.
Working for us you will have a pivotal role in ensuring that the construction phases and momentum are maintained.
Candidates should ideally have 5 years’ post-Part III work experience across all RIBA stages.
Candidates should be able to show the ability to lead team members and demonstrate:
Producing drawings for planning applications
Producing effective presentations.
3D modelling experience (SketchUp)
Leading coordination with external consultants and dealing with queries effectively, driving project related matters to conclusion
Contract administration including assessing claims for extensions of time and carrying out site inspections.
Applicants should combine demonstrable design and communication skills with good technical knowledge and experience of taking projects through to concept design, planning approval, coordinated design and delivery on site. You must be a self-starter with the ability to inspire trust in both the workforce and us in equal measure.
Salary Guide: £40,000 – £50,000
Responsibilities
Independently run small to medium size projects, from concept through to completion, with limited supervision from a Director.
Working and liaising directly with Director and coordinating with consultants.
Creating presentations, drawing elevations, and floor plans.
Take responsibility for your own project deadlines with oversight from Director.
Be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Cs. Rhino3D would be a bonus for certain projects, so please highlight this in your application if applicable.
Hold a high level of design skill and technical knowledge, with examples of floor plans, building elevations, and joinery details.

Strong work ethic and commitment to producing projects to the highest standard.
Have a good technical mind and excellent eye for design and detail.
Excellent communication skills confidently liaise with suppliers, contractors, and Director.
To be a problem solver, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Experience and knowledge of construction and joinery details.
Excellent design skills to deliver high quality design, across a variety of scales and in complex urban and green belt settings
An ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload.
Effective reporting against timescales & deliverables to the Director.
Keen to take a hands-on approach.
Microsoft Office Suite.
The successful candidates will be confident, friendly and efficient. Enthusiastic about working as part of a team and happy to assist wherever required.
Strong knowledge and experience in the UK Residential sector
A comprehensive understanding of the UK Building Regulations and the UK Planning framework
Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.
