# Celebrating 25 Years of Dedication: Wayne Wood
At Meridian Building Plastics Ltd, we are incredibly proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone as our Operations Manager, Wayne Wood, reaches 25 years of service with the company.
I still remember Wayne's first day with us. He was just 19 years old, a little wet behind the ears and, if I'm honest, a bit of a wide boy who thought he knew it all! Like many young people starting out in their careers, he had plenty of confidence and ambition, and over the years I've had the privilege of watching him grow into the outstanding manager he is today.
Wayne's journey hasn't always been plain sailing. Like any long and successful career, there have been challenges along the way. What has always stood out, however, is his determination, work ethic and commitment to getting the job done. He is one of the hardest-working people I know, highly organised, exceptionally tidy, and someone who takes immense pride in everything he does.
Customer service has always been at the heart of Wayne's approach. He understands that our customers are the lifeblood of our business and works tirelessly to ensure they receive the highest level of service. For Wayne, "no" is never the answer. Instead, he looks for solutions, finds alternatives and goes the extra mile to make sure our customers get what they need.
His attention to detail and operational excellence have also played a huge role in the success of Meridian Building Plastics. Wayne has an excellent understanding of stock management, ensuring product availability while keeping stock levels under control. This careful balance has helped us maintain the service levels our customers expect while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Over the last 25 years, Wayne has become an invaluable member of our team. His contribution extends far beyond his job title. He has helped shape the business, supported colleagues, built lasting relationships with customers and played a significant role in the growth and success of Meridian Building Plastics Ltd.
On behalf of the Meridian Building Plastics family, I would like to thank Wayne for his loyalty, dedication and hard work over the past quarter of a century. Reaching 25 years with one company is a fantastic achievement and one that should be celebrated.
