PSNI have reported that these criminals are now using high strength magnets to open your locks to your property, this make it very easy for criminals to enter your property and puts you and your home at risk.

SOLUTION: when you lock your door from the inside make sure you remove the key from the lock as it cant be unlocked when the key is not in the barrel. if you have stop chain or other stop device use it

I will be posting basic security tips on this page for everyone to feel that bit safer. my first tips today comes at rise in car keys taken from homes in our area during the day and other thief's due to home doors left unlocked.

My advice is when you are in your house:
Keep your doors LOCKED
If you have a gate CLOSE it behind you
Keep all your valuables out of sight and not near an open window or door

my picture today is a logo of a scotch whiskey brand. I can only say that when you have that scotch (drink) at home remember to lock those windows and doors.
