It's ! This week we have a customer query on a succulent: 'I bought this Aloe Vera a few years ago. Will it get any bigger? I water it when I remember but the compost looks grey. Should I re-pot it, or give it fresh compost? Millbrook's plant expert says: You are doing all the right things - keeping it on the dry side, plenty of light and well-drained soil - as the plant looks very healthy. It does help to re-pot the plant every third year as you can get fungus or pests in the compost and it won't have much nutrition or structure left after all that time. The plant will continue to grow, but at a slow rate so it shouldn't get so big it becomes a problem. Do you have a question for ? Send it to us via Messenger, or post it below.
