I also do basic grass cutting, weeding, hedge trimming, power washing, fencing, slabbing, kerbing, driveways and any other similar jobs.

Hi Folks,

No posts in a few weeks as I've been busy on some larger projects. One of which has just been finished.

This one was a joy to work on as it was such a big change for our customer who was fed up looking out her window at a rough bit of grass and badly uneven slabs.

Dug out and removed all the old grass with a micro digger, built a retaining wall from railway sleepers to split the garden into 2 tiers, relaid all the slabs in front of the pergola ready to turf the top tier also leaving an area for customers poly tunnel which had some reused slabs laid for a sturdy walking/working surface.

Once we built in the steps and treated the sleepers, we then relaid all the old slabs we lifted at the beginning, into a nice, flat walkway to the new steps and up to customers existing shed/wendy house. The larger area was then filled with a good bed of chuckies and a good membrane underneath to suppress w**d growth.

The customer's 2 dogs approve of their new playing/pooping space 😂.

I'm so happy people put trust in what we do and allow us to change their gardens so substantially. Thank you all.

Regular maintenance on this property. We are back every couple of weeks to get this stunner back to its best. Huge leaf clearance, hedge trim and grass cut. Looks so much tidier and customer can see their grass again. Lots of work still to do but looking forward to it. It’s satisfying seeing changes in such stunning gardens. It’s great standing back at the end looking at how it is evolving over the time we’ve been working on it. Another delighted customer which is what we aim for.

Here is a hedge cut done by Your Choice Home And Garden Services and I. Missed the top part of the first one due to a wasps nest right next to us. Didn't fancy swinging a petrol hedge cutter about while up a ladder and being attacked by them so back another day to finish up. Safety first! Before and after of both sections.

Job from a few weeks ago required a lot of w**ding in preparation for Keith Blue Granite chuckies. The whole chucky area had membrane already down which we lifted and relayed when all the w**ding was done. Prepared flower beds for new plants and bark w**d suppressant for low maintenance. We will be back to this one in spring for more maintenance, erect a new fence and treat the grass or maybe to lay fresh turf. To begin, we could barely see any of the stonework but it turned out a great feature. See images. Again, alongside Your Choice Home And Garden Services.
