I love June ☀️

Not just because it’s my birthday month! It’s the long evenings. The fact that we’ll be going on holiday soon. Whatever’s going on, I just feel more optimistic this time of year.

And although we’re so far from those January resolutions now — many long forgotten — June feels full of hope and possibility. For some people, this is when the time finally feels right to get started on the things they hoped for this year, without the pressure.

If there’s one thing you could get started on this month - for your home, work or life, what would it be?

Today is World Organising Day — these are some of the benefits of getting organised that I have noticed:

✨ Less to do. When everything has a place, the ‘To Do’ of things to sort, find, and deal with gets shorter.

✨ A lighter mental load. It’s not just physical clutter that drains you. It’s the thinking about it. The “I must sort that” that follows you around all day.

✨ More time for what actually matters. When life runs more smoothly, you get to choose what you do with your time.

✨ You stop rebuying things. When you know what you have and where it is, the ‘having to rebuy’ stops costing you money.

✨ Better concentration. A calmer space genuinely makes it easier to think. Research backs it up.

✨ Everyone in the house is happier. This one surprises people. Being organised lifts the whole household.

What’s the one thing you would like to be better organised right now?

I’ve been using AI almost every day for over a year. Learning different systems, experimenting, seeing how it can help make life simpler (and figuring out where it doesn’t!).

Here are just some of the ordinary things that have saved me time and mental space.

Where are you at with AI? I’d love to hear what you’re using it for.

Hi, I'm Lynn — and if you're new here, welcome. If we've crossed paths before, it's lovely to see you again.

I started Happily Sorted to help people declutter and organise their homes. I trained with so know just how life-changing it can be. I quickly realised that sorting a home almost always leads somewhere deeper. The conversations I had with clients were just as powerful as the transformations in their homes.

It was never really about the stuff. So I trained to become a qualified life coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Now I've completed over 4,000 hours of one-to-one client work.

I now offer life coaching and home decluttering and organising — helping people simplify and live happier, calmer lives.

I'm based in Leicestershire and work in person across the East Midlands and virtually with people everywhere.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change — whether that's your home, your work, or just a general sense that life could feel lighter — drop me a message or say hello below. I'd love to hear from you.

A client of mine is almost ready to get her flat on the market.

A few more things needed to go into storage with a relative before the photos could be taken. Decisions needed to be made on what was staying and what was going.

Today we tackled the CD collection. It was great fun reliving the eras and the memories that went with them.

She knew straightaway which ones were staying with her. The mix tapes people had made for her over the years. Her absolute die-hard favourites. The collections that would be hard to find again. The ones she couldn't bear anything happening to.

So we packed up the rest. And there it was — the soundtrack to her life.

What's part of the story or soundtrack of your life? What would you never put in storage?

International Coaching Week runs 11–17 May, and for that week, I’m offering life coaching sessions on a "pay what you can" basis. I’d love more people to be able to experience what a coaching session is actually like.

An hour to think things through properly. Together, we work out what matters, what’s next, or what to let go of. You leave with more clarity than you arrived with.

It works well for decisions you've been going round in circles on, for feeling stuck in a way you can't quite name, or just for needing space to think when life has got full.

If you've been curious about coaching, this is a great way to try it.

Message me, or visit www.happilysorted.co.uk/contact to find out more.

Sometimes my coaching is simply about helping people get stuff done.

Procrastination, overwhelm and anxiety are very real when it comes to things like life admin. And these tasks don’t just disappear if you ignore them. There’s often a cost — to your peace of mind or to your pocket.

Today, I helped a client submit a form to claim back hundreds of pounds for dental treatment. She had waited months to do it. In reality, once we sat down together, it took less than five minutes — and now the money is on its way.

I’ve helped clients get all sorts of things done — from EHCP and Access to Work applications to ADHD assessments, getting quotes and making insurance claims.

Sometimes people just need a little help to get things done. And that’s okay.
