Saw this hack on TV - nail polish remover to clean off dried paint splats. I'm pleased to report it works great! Choose a nail polish remover that contains acetone and test on a small area first, this example is on a tiled floor.

I'm a big fan of the TV show Clean it, Fix it. Sometimes a good clean or fix can really revive your interior, plus it saves the money of replacing things.

Some before and afters of a home I have been working on in Loughton. The function of the downstairs has been improved by moving the dining table out to the extention (and closer to the kitchen), taking advantage of the wonderful natural light. A new storage cabinet has replaced x3 side tables and lifted the TV off the floor (the new TV didn't fit the old stand). You can now see and safely enjoy the fire too!

Decluttering the papers 🥱😴 - papers can be dull to declutter, but knowing where things are and what you have is worth it! If you are having trouble finding important papers, this is your sign to declutter and reset your paper storage! Get in touch if you'd like me to coach you and support you to do this in your home.

(I highly recommend reading Marie Kondo's advice on paper decluttering in her book 'the life-changing magic of tidying')

Inspiration ✨ - very much enjoyed looking round Wimpole Hall this week. Huge rooms, beautiful features. Can you imagine having such a huge room dedicated to books?? Which type of interiors inspire you?
