Alvingham Watermill and Mill House
Alvingham Mill is first recorded in 1155, but the current mill dates back to 1780.
The working Watermill and five-bedroom Mill House are listed Grade II and the property is set in pretty open countryside on a canal network linked to the river Ludd, which passes through the centre of Louth in Lincolnshire.
The new owners of the Mill engaged Adrip Plumbing and heating to decommission the entire Mill House heating system, excluding the boiler. A new unvented cylinder system was installed with multi zone programmable heating controls.
The install to the ancient building had to be undertaken sympathetically with particular attention to internal aesthetics. The customers are delighted with the work and now live in a warm soon to be completed stylish 18th century home.
