Well… After starting Leaf in 2020, it’s time to move onto bigger and brighter things. I have been offered an opportunity that makes sense for my little family and me.

I can honestly say it has been a blast. I have learnt a lot and life wasn’t always kind, and I am certainly not the person that started the business 5 years ago… Which isn’t all a bad thing.. I’ll be taking it all with me into the next chapter!

Thank you so much for all the support, it means so much! Some customers I can now call close friends.

Onwards and upwards! 🔨🪚

I’ll be wrapping up mid March and am happy to help existing customers with any small projects if I can.

I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to learn how to use datum’s in joinery! It will save so much time, and costly mistakes should never happen! Hope these tips can help..

This is a good example of using datum’s to install shower boards, but it can be tailored for most joinery installs.

Back in 2006 I started my apprenticeship in Joinery. A trade will take you on so many highs and lows… You will spend your apprenticeship thinking you are Sh (and I really was!!).. I even went for interviews for waiter jobs thinking this wasn’t for me.

Nearly 20 years later, and I love my job, which is so rare these days!

If you have a son or daughter wanting to take their hand to a skilled labour job, please push them towards it! They will have a tough few years, but they won’t regret it!

My parents bought me my first black and decker workmate and a few hand tools and I made my first table. Isn’t it beautiful! I think it is held together will rawl plugs… 😂
