Next up is this huge slate roof. It had actually been re roofed. But I have never seen such a mess in my life. More than a 100 slates were not even nailed, not even one nail! The land gutter were partly framed out with 5mm hard board. It really was shocking. So a full strip and re slare was in order. Its looking top notch now.

Just catching up with a few jobs from this year. Not had chance to upload for a while. Things are busy, we have a lot booked in. This job was taking down a shed and rebuilding it to extend the garage. New foundations of course. Some additional land drains and new patio area.

Bit of a test this one. The old stairs were literally falling to pieces. All stripped out and new ones cut on site.

Been a nice job in the lovely weather. Full strip and re roof. It needed it for sure.

Recent job taking down the stack and complete rebuild with lime mortar. Then complete re-roof. Slates were that bad on the front we had to completely use new slates. The salvaged ones then used to make good the rear side

Lovely couple of days fitting these solar remote velux. What a great bit of kit these are. No wiring required. Work lovely

Update on the door surround. It's all back together now. Managed to clean the two plaster mouldings up after years of paint layers. Ready for a fresh coat now which will show the detailing, which had been lost in paint. New lead roof to weather it all in with the outlet now into the hopper head. Taken some work, but it's been well worth it. Looks Fantastic...even if I say so myself 🤭

Well this job escalated! Going from some repairs to a total strip out and rebuild. The lead outlet had dropped and water has been spreading into all the timber work for years. Fair play to the original guys who built this, it would have all been hand cut then. I had the use of mitre saws. Bench saws. Multi tools and drills. And it was still some head scratching at times. Trying to rebuild like the original build. Nearly there now. Will do an update upon completion

This roof was in need of some tlc having seen its day. Total strip out, new felt and battens, new double roman roof tiles. All finished off with dry verge and dry ridge fittings.
