This project 70m2 of landscaping, featuring a 450x450 raven top slab, which was selected by the customer. We installed 40 meters of close-board fencing with concrete posts and gravel boards. On the left-hand section, a one-foot diamond-style trellis was added. To accommodate both neighbours preferences we added feather edge the to both side of the panels which faced both properties, and we ensured maximum height for added security as requested by the neighbour.

Additionally, we installed a French drain and a new gate designed to match the front garden. A single course of brickwork was laid to align the patio with the property’s damp course and drainage, which also helped separate the different levels of the ground. The client provided the initial design, and we advised on the best approach to execute it effectively within the available area. They have also decided to have astroturf installed in the new year.

We recently completed a 4x4 meter artificial grass installation. The customer selected our “Cuba” style with a 38mm pile, which provides excellent drainage for both rain and pets.

For the installation, we removed the old grass and laid down 100mm of Type 1 aggregate, which was then compacted and leveled. We then added a 50mm layer of granite dust. A key part of this project was seamlessly integrating the new grass with the existing patios on both sides to ensure a flush finish. There is also a concrete boarder that we used to glue edge for a better finish. We also replaced the old washing line and cemented it in as it was a bit wobbly before.

We’re confident this upgrade has significantly refreshed the garden’s appearance.

I recently completed a concrete shed base for my next-door neighbour. They were having some difficulty with the project, so I was happy to help.

I started by leveling the area and cutting the timber frame. Then, I used two tons of Type 1 aggregate from Buildscape, compacted it, re-leveled, and compacted it again. Next, I applied two tons of sharp sand mixed with cement at a 4:1 ratio. To reinforce the base and prevent cracking, I also incorporated rebar. The final dimensions of the base are 9 feet by 10 feet.

This project involves six bays, each with a 5-foot close board panel, a 12-inch concrete gravel board, and a 6-inch concrete gravel board, for an overall height of 6 feet 6 inches. Each bay had a 9-foot slotted post with two bags of Postcrete per hole. With a double gate with a drop bolt system at the front.

All spoils was removed off-site through Invoroclear, and materials was sourced from Orchard Fencing Erith.

This project involves 12 bays of fencing, each with a 5-foot-6 close board panel and a 12-inch concrete gravel board. The total height of 6 feet 6 inches is the maximum allowed without planning permission. Due to the garden's slope, we installed the fence in stages.

The fencing materials were supplied by Orchard Fencing Erith, and all waste and spoils from the ground were taken to Invorclear Erith for disposal.
