We are working hard on the Prestige Beds project, with work on the double height entrance being well underway! Other plans for the project include a 5-6M deep sales area, which could be fully glazed or partial solid panels, a low-pitched solid roof being added to the building, and an external arrival area space.

We are looking forward to seeing the finished project.

The proposal for Bridgeman Place Works was a mixed-use development to create a landmark residential extension and refurbishment to the main building.

The building extension was well suited to the location, and improved the aesthetic of the local area. It also helped to kick start the regeneration of the neighbourhood.

The building is conveniently located close to the town centre with great pedestrian, cycle and public transport links for the modern resident of Bolton.

Our director Gary had the opportunity to speak at Railtex yesterday.

We also saw speakers and listened to some very interesting insights from some other names from the industry, including Network Rail.

We've had some great conversations with people in the industry so far at Railtex.

Our company director, Gary Seed is also speaking at the Unlocking Innovation seminar tomorrow (Thursday 12th May) at 11:45am.

He'll be focusing on our projects, how wider spectrum improvements will benefit stations, and how this can evolve in the future.

It's a must attend.

It's only a week until Railtex 2022, and we are looking forward to it.

During the exhibition, our company director, Gary Seed will be speaking at the Unlocking Innovation seminar on Thursday 12 May at 11:45 – 12:15. He will be discussing the importance of station surveys and why their continual reassessment is essential to ensure we are providing safe & accessible stations for all users.

There will also be a focus on how wider spectrum improvements will benefit stations, and how this can evolve in the future.

We think you'll want to see this, so come along if you are attending.

We are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the Railtex/Infrarail exhibition on 10th-12th May!

We'll be discussing the Access for All project, amongst other things, so come along and see us at stand B95.

Recently, we received planning permission for the conversion of Burscough Bridge Interchange.

We originally designed and delivered the Burscough Bridge Interchange in 2006 as a new interchange for Lancashire County Council. Unfortunately it then closed in 2016 due to council budget cuts, and the building has been redundant since. Burscough Town Council are now taking over the lease of the building, and it’s being converted into office and meeting spaces for local businesses and the community.

This is great news as it’s bringing the building back into use for the community.

As part of the project, mechanical and electrical services are to be upgraded to modern sustainable standards, including the addition of solar panels and electric car charging points.

Declan is a brand new starter, he has been working with Seed Architects for just two weeks, and joined because of his passion and drive to design, create and develop buildings.
Declan has always taken an interest & liking in the sculpture and creation of the world’s most fascinating skyscrapers, and he loves being a valuable component in a team, where he can share his experiences to aid others in their success.
