Worsley Civic Trust and Amenity Society Worsley Civic Trust and Amenity Society was founded on the 29th November 1963.

The aims and objectives of the society are to promote and encourage high standards of architecture and design in town planning in the Worsley, Moorside, Boothstown, Little Hulton, Walkden and Wardley districts of the City of Salford.

I think I have a pair of grieving jackdaw. They have been nesting in the H type chimney stacks and I haven’t heard the chicks today. I suspect the hot weather has had an effect on them being exposed to the intense heat from the sun. (And no we don’t have a wood burner)

Kenyon Peel Hall used to be located on today’s Kenyon Way in Little Hulton.
Taken down in 1958. Part of one of the rooms lives on in Lark Hill Place in Salford Art Gallery and Museum.
A replica of this building was constructed in Port Sunlight Village.
Come along and hear more about the Village in Elizabeth Charnley’s talk about the man who created the village and later became Lord Leverhulme on the 27th May at the Worsley Park Hotel at 7.30pm.
